Are You Using Google Chrome?
Though EngageMe.TV works with a variety of desktop browsers, the platform is best optimized for Google Chrome, as Chrome works best with EngageMe.TV Flash-based channels.
Solution: If you're not using Google Chrome, try switching over to it. The EngageMe.TV platform works best with Chrome, thus you are likely to see more ads and have less technical issues.
Is it the Beginning of the Month?
Ad budgets are typically higher as a month progresses, causing more ads to be available after the first three to five days of a new month. After the first three to five days, there is usually an immediate pick up lasting through the end of the month.
Solution: We recommend that you continue to your normal routine of watching and earning daily, as you'll start to notice more ads available each day.
Have You Tried Another New Channel?
Certain EngageMe.TV channels receive more ads than others for various reasons, causing fewer opportunities to earn credits.
Solution: Try switching channels to see if more ads are available on another channel.
If You’re Using the EngageMe.TV Site or EngageMe.TV App...Are You Logged In and Connected to a Linked Partner?
Earning credits on the official EngageMe.TV site or the EngageMe.TV app requires that a user be logged into EngageMe.TV and connected to a Linked Partner to receive credit.
Solution: If you are viewing videos via the EngageMe.TV site or EngageMe.TV app, make sure that you are logged in, and have connected to a Linked Partner. Which Devices Are You Using?
Different devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc.) perform differently when displaying EngageMe.TV videos, causing some users to see fewer ads on certain devices vs. other devices.
Solution: Try viewing EngageMe.TV videos via a different device and see if you begin to start seeing more ads.
Are You Seeing Any Ads?
Unless you are using the EngageMe.TV iOS app, or the EngageMe.TV Android app, you need to watch videos and a designated number of ads in order to earn credits. EngageMe.TV ads can be easily spotted, as they look like typical ads for products that you would normally see on television, like toothpaste, deodorant, clothing, soda, and pet food.
Solution: We recommend spending some time watching videos and take notice if you are seeing ads play in between the videos. If you aren’t seeing ads, try one of the applicable solutions listed on this page, such as switching to Chrome or try accessing EngageMe.TV via a different device.
Solution: To see how many ads are required to earn credits, look for the number next to the Watching section on the top of your screen. This number is know as the advertisement counter, and also let’s you know how close you are to earning credits. So, if you see “Watching: 2 of 3” at the top of your screen, you know that you have watched two out of the required three ads to earn credits.
Are You Using a Proxy or VPN?
Proxy servers, Virtual Private Networks (VPN) or other attempts to hide a user's IP address are not allowed when watching EngageMe.TV videos. Any usage of IP masking devices will result in loss of credits and potential banishment from using EngageMe.TV.
Solution: Don't watch EngageMe.TV videos via a proxy, VPN or any other technology that hides your IP.
